Hi
A while ago someone suggest to print graphics after importing them in Word
perfect. Here is the text:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
(...) I have had
good lick using the HPGL output from GCG. Just type HPGL, and you will get the
following
dialog:
use HPGL graphics with what device:
HP7470
HP7475
HP7550
HP7580
ColorPro
LaserJetIII
Please choose one ( * HP7550 * )
You enter the most appropriate device, and then are asked:
To what
port is your HP7550 connected (* /dev/tty15 *)
If you enter a file name to this question, for example, test.plt
GCG replies:
What page size:
A3 (for 11 x 17 inch)
A4 (for 8.5 x 11 inch)
Please choose one (A3 or A4) (* A4 *)
A CR chooses the default
Plotting Configuration set to:
Language: hpd
Device: HP7550
Port or Queue: test.plt
Using a paper size of A4.
When GCG program plots, the output is sent to the file you named, as HPGL code.
This file can be downloaded (FTP or Kermit [use binary transfer mode]) and then
plotted on a plotter, printed on an HPLJII or imported into Corel Draw or other
programs. WordPerfect also does a good job with HPGL files.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I tried the same procedure with Word but the only thing I get is the frame of
the graphic. Anyone ever succeeded in importing gcg graphics in Word 6.0?
Thank you for the help
