You may 'create' a personal database with the GCG-command dataset. For
example, if you want to make a database with all the nucleic
sequence files .seq, stored in the directory mydatabase, you should use:

%dataset mydatabase/*.seq new-dbase -type=N (in Unix systems)

where new-dbase is the name of your personal database.
