Unfortunately, NCSA Telnet for DOS will not run in Win95 (if you
use any windows comm programs at all and built-in TCP/IP). I
have not discovered any freeware telnet programs for Win95 that
have even half the features of NCSA Telnet (or CUTCP TN3270) for
DOS. The best sulutions I've found are to use an XWindow server
program to display graphics, and to use QVT/Net terminal for
passthrough printing of text, and, in transparent mode, GCG
graphics. This works well, but requires shelling out money
for the software licenses. BTW, passthrough printing will
NOT work on many of the other available freeware and shareware
telnet programs. With them, you must save to a file, then
download and print it locally.
