Another package to consider using is the Staden Package, I do believe another
upgrtade was released earlier on this week-I shall be chasing that up:-))

It also has a very clever contig assembly program which allows you to edit 
your sequences with the traces in a seperate window; assuming you have 
X-windows of course.  Unfortunately not many people do:-((

If you are an academic user, its about #100 (English Sterling) per upgrade.
