Mac Conversion for GCG Files

I have recently been doing a lot of conversion of GCG figures to EPSF
files on the Mac for LaTeX documents. My current favorite combination
is epsconverter, a Mac shareware program that will take any postscript
file and convert it to an Adobe Illustrator file, and then edit that
file with Macromedia Freehand 5.0.

The epsconverter/Freehand5.0 combination allows me to take any laserwriter
output, including Phylip's drawtree/drawgram, my own plalign | tek2ps,
or GCG's postscript output and edit it as postscript.

Freehand5.0 is available for $150 with an academic discount, and is a great
improvement over FH4.0.
