If you mail the details to me directly, or to the EGCG support team
(egcg at embnet.org) we should be able to fix your problem. I suspect it
is something in your graphics setup (prettybox gets the shading effect
by writing a postscript file directly because GCG's graphics calls do
not support shading).
The output should be in the same file as your normal graphics output if
you have set GCG to use PostScript, or in file PlotPort if you are
trying to run prettybox while using (for example) xwindows graphics.
