UNIX sys. admin. position in NYC biomedical facility

   The Public Health Research Institute is a New York City-based nonprofit 
biomedical research facility that is looking for a UNIX systems and network 
administrator.  This individual will be responsible for system and network 
management in an Internet-connected setting and support for research sci-
entists and staff.  The individual will be working under the supervision of a 
department manager.

   Experience with the following is required:

      €Solaris 2.x administration 
      €Sun 4.x administration
      €NIS+ administration
      €X Windows, including xdm and chooser
      €Using the Internet and it¹s associated facilities
      €The Columbia Appletalk Package
      €Sendmail administration
      €Usenet news administration.

   Experience with the following is preferred:

      €Apple Macintosh
      €IBM-PC compatible computers
      €html
      €GNU emacs
      €Using the -me macros for [gr|n|t]roff
      €Knowledge of the GCG Sequence Analysis package.
