Applicants are invited for a "teaching postdoctoral" position designed to
provide experience in the teaching of the biological sciences. Candidates
must possess a Ph.D. and a strong interest in teaching. The successful
candidate will teach introductory biology and possibly also upper division
biology courses. The College of Charleston is a liberal arts institution
whose primary aim is teaching excellence. Biology offers undergraduate
instruction leading to the BA or BS degree, including an undergraduate
marine biology emphasis, an undergraduate molecular biology emphasis, and
an MS degree in Marine Biology. The department also participates in an MS
degree program in Environmental Studies. Applicants should submit a
