Hmm,
in principle yes. I thought you could something like (VMS syntax)
$ findpatterns/onestrand/pattern="<XX{198,198}X>"
This should give sequences with 200 bases in length. Unfortunately it doesn't
work. After a few tests I found that FindPatterns doesn't like both, a begin
and a end constraint together.
Thus, I fear you can't do it with GCG unless they fix this behaviour/bug(?).
