Move to Unix Platform

We run GCG on a Dec Ultrix platform, and do not have too much
problem. But because we did not have any previous experience of
using GCG on a VMS platform, we did not experience vast sorrow.
However, I would very much like GCG to have a Unix feel, rather
than the VMS feel to it. I would go so far as to request
GCG Inc to either take the VMS feel out of GCG or have a Unix-feel
GCG Unix version for consistency among purely Unix users.
