A while ago I ask for sequence converter for sequence retrieved from
NCBI.
Here are the answers I got
1) use fromgenbank or fromembl etc
this works fine for sequences from Genbank and Embl
2) one person suggested me the program SEQREAD from Don Gilbert
available at ftp.bio.indiana.edu. This program is very
useful for many databanks and really helped me.
This only databank I could not converted was kabatpro.
