I would like to be able to run Window and have it give me one column that
is a ratio of 2 sequences (i.e. AT/TA ratio). Does anybody know if there
is a simple way to do this. I have thought about importing the window
output into a spreadsheet and using the spreadsheet to give me the ratio
of 2 columns. I have come across some technical difficulties with this
method though. Window does not seem to output the data in either
tab-delimited or comma-delimited format (rather it uses spaces). I have
been doing this by downloading the file to a Mac and doing the data
manipulations there. Is there maybe a relatively easy way to do this on
the VAX. I would appreciate any help or pointers.
