This problem might always happen if you run a TCP/IP stack which
is different from what GCG runs at release ship date. If you install
a new GCG version, remember to edit genmakefiles:drivers.txt and comment
out any driver you do not directly support. Remember that VWS and
GKS are not currently supported on Alpha, and that you need to have
XWindows installed up and running if you want to support this.
