I have read articles where cetylpridinium chloride when mixed with
glycosaminoglycans will cause them to precipitate out of a liquid
solution. I was wondering if some could explain the chemistry of why
this occurs (what part of the glycosaminoglycan molecule does
cetylpridinium chloride attach to, to cause this to precipitation to
occur)?
