Dear Glycosci Readers (if any are left!),
I notice the postings recently on the amount of 'spam'. Unfortunately, when
the list was set up, these problems were not so high and Barry Hardy and I
opted to have the list 'unmoderated'.
In the past four years I indicated in three e-mails to the biosci
admininstration that this unmoderated status should change - no answer. I
try again today! Perhaps someone has a friend at the MRC's HGMP and has a
direct line to whoever is responsible.
Considering the low amount of traffic, I am willing to take over moderation
(from my non-university e-mail address) - if HGMP get round to doing
anything about it.
A note for those who wish to unsubscribe - you can not unsubscribe by
mailing the list - refer to http://www.bio.net/docs.html for the exact
information. For European users: send the message

to Majordomo at hgmp.mrc.ac.uk
I hope though we can 'relaunch' as a moderated list and remain a presence
within BIOSCI.
