For prediction of O-(beta)-GlcNAc linked Ser/Thr sites in
intracellular/nuclear proteins. O-(beta)-GlcNAcylation is a
dynamic post-translational modification that affects a large
number of nuclear and cytoplasmic proteins. In some cases, a
reciprocal relationship may exist with phosphorylation on the
same Ser/Thr residues.
The server, based on artificial neural networks, is trained on
the sequence context and surface accessibility of 40
experimentally determined O-GlcNAc sites. The web server also
combines NetPhos predictions, and identifies 'Yin-Yang' sites.
