     Scientist II/Senior Scientist (Synthetic Organic Chemist)
     
     Responsibilities:
     
     You will be responsible for synthesis, purification, analysis and 
     characterization of new dye labeled nucleotide substrates for 
     fluorescence based DNA sequencing to support existing and new 
     instrumentation.
     
     Qualifications:
     
     B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry. 2-3 years relevant 
     postdoctoral and/or industrial experience (with Ph.D.) or 10 years 
     industrial experience (with B.S./M.S.) in multiple step organic 
     synthesis with the ability to isolate, purify, analyze, and 
     characterize organic molecules. Hands-on experience with instrumental 
     methods of analysis and separation including NMR, UV/vis, and HPLC is 
     essential. Experience with Nucleic Acid and/or Carbohydrate chemistry 
     is desirable. Excellent organizational and communication skills and a 
     desire to work in a multidisciplinary and a very dynamic team 
     environment
