Hi,

on behalf of the organisers of the BRI and the DBRI courses, I am
pleased to announce that the
The 4th. Edition of the Bioscience Resources on the Internet course is
going to start on September 14, 1998 and will last for 3 weeks.
Registration is open
now and you can find more information about the course and the
registration form
via http://www.emile-21.com/BRI

The course will be immediately followed by the 1st. International
Edition of the Doing Biological Research on the Internet (DBRI)
course. This course teaches more advanced topics and is built on BRI.
Registration for DBRI is open now and you can find more information
about the course and the registration form via
http://www-de.gnacademy.org/netbio/dbri

The DBRI course will also, among other topics, present Biological
VRML and has an option for 2-3 weeks extension with a focus on VRML.

NB: Another edition of the VSNS-BCD Biocomputing course
http://www.techfak.uni-bielefeld.de/bcd/welcome.html
(see home page for more information about how to stay informed about
the course) is scheduled for spring 1999.
BRI teaches you skills useful for a successful participation in the
Biocomputing course, and thus, if you intend to apply for the BCD
course, it's a very good idea to participate in the BRI course now.

Yours sincerely,

Christian Frosch

Co-organiser BRI course
