Hi,
Questions about de-glycosylation occur at least once a year here so not to
disappoint you here is one.
Regarding the method of Edge et al. (1981) Anal. Biochem. 118; 131-137,
who used TFMS to deglycosylate, does anybody have any data which
point to protein degradation or reduced deglycosylation efficiency when
following their methods. If so are these special cases requiring an
alternative protocol?
On a more general note is anybody working on a hot new method for high
efficiency broad spectrum deglycosylation which leaves the protein core
intact?
Thanks,
Bob
