1998
The 19th International Carbohydrate Symposium will be held at the
University of California, San Diego, August 9-14, 1998.
<fontfamily><param>Geneva</param>The International Carbohydrate
Symposium is the largest and longest standing international meeting of
carbohydrate scientists. In San Diego we expect nearly 1000
participants, who will present approximately the same number of
scientific reports covering all aspects of carbohydrate chemistry,
biology, and technology. The Symposium is held every second year under
the sponsorship of the International Carbohydrate Organization, a group
of 27 scientists representing each of the countries with significant
scientific activity in glycoscience.
</fontfamily>Contributed papers on all aspects of glycoscience are
invited. Full details of the meeting are available in the Second
Circular, which will be mailed to all those who have already requested
one on approximately January 19, 1998.
If you have not already requested the Second Circular, you may order
one or browse the Web Version of the Second Circular at
<<http://www.ics98.uci.edu>. Or send your email request for the Second
Circular to <<ics98 at uci.edu>. Please be sure to include your full
name, full mailing address, telephone and fax numbers, and email
address with your email request.
We hope to see you in San Diego next summer. Registration materials
and abstracts are due April 1, 1998.
