Genetic Analysis R&D
This individual will be responsible for chemistry development of
nucleotide terminators, dyes, and new dye-terminators for DNA
sequencing to support existing and new instrumentation.
Qualifications:
This position requires the knowledge and skills normally acquired
through the completion of a Ph.D. degree in Synthetic Organic
Chemistry. Typically requires at least 2 years of postdoctoral or
industrial experience in organic synthesis. Experience with
nucleic acid and/or carbohydrate chemistry, and synthesis of new
fluorescent compounds is desirable. This individual should be
knowledgeable and experienced with modern synthetic and
analytical methods, such as HPLC and NMR. Effective communication
and organizational skills are required.
