Dear glycoscientists:
Are there any report/evidence of presence of heparan sulphate (or other
GAG) on human red cell surface? There are reports of heparan sulphate on
animal (murine) erythrocytes, on human erytroleukemic and myeloic cells,
but I haven=B4t found anything concerning human erythrocytes. Can any one
help me with information/speculations/ideas on that matter?
Thank you.
