I am interested in the near future in synthesizing some anomeric
D-Allopyranosides. D-Gulopyranosides, D-Idopyranosides and D-Talopyranosides. I
already have the monosaccharides. I am not trying to make the methyl
glycosides, info on those is readily available in the literature. The aglycon is
likely to be amphiphilic with a molecular weight of 500-1000 and should be
connected via oxygen to one of the single CHOs listed above. Any
info/experiences/tips/refs would be appreciated. Thanks Dave Mannock
