The best way to attach Glucose to primary amine is reductive
amination. There are literally thousands of references. Some common
books which are usually found in every library are:
Methods in Enzymology, Vol. 242 and 247
Neoglycoproteins (Eds. Y.C. Lee and R.T. Lee), Academic Press, 1994.
ISBN 0-12-440585-1
QP552.G59N46
Advances in Carbohydrate Chemistry and Biochemistry, Vol 37 (1980)
Chapter by Lee et al., page 225-281
Any undergraduate organic chemistry book will have a section on
reductive amination.
Good Luck!

Hi all,
I would like to cross-link glucose molecules to carboxyl or primary amino
groups. Could somebody suggest reliable methods or refernces? Thanks.
