C-glycosides

Hi everybody,

We recently found in human RNase Us an unusual modification in uhman RNase Us. An hexopyranosyl residue was C-C-linked to the C2 atom of a tryptophan ring. Of course this raises some interesting questions regarding its biosynthesis. Does
anybody know something or some references about the biosynthesis of C-glycosides in plants ?
