I am doing a mapping of the major Drosophila melanogaster membrane
glycoproteins. I find what looks like charge isoforms of certain
glycoproteins. This could be due to differential phosporylation,
acetylation or sialylation. Is there any other cause of charge isoforms of
membrane proteins, especially due to glycosylation?
