Does anyone know of a university that teaches a course in carbohydrates?
I've heard of a few speciality mini-courses offered by ACS, but that's it.
And the information I get in other classes (ie. immunology, biochemistry,
biophysical, etc.) is minimal at best. And the only text that I know of is
Binkley's Carbohydrate Chemistry (which I believe is mostly on monomers).
I know someone out there has to have more up to date information, but the
last time I talked to someone at Glycomed (June of this year) they had
just gone through personnel cutbacks. But I thought they were going to
clinical trials with something soon. Has anyone heard anything about it?
