I have received an apology from the author of the 'At last!' post
(dawF94 at hamp.hampshire.edu). He said he had seen no posts in the group and,
therefore, posted a 'troll'. Indeed there seem to be faults with the Usenet
and e-mail versions of the newsgroup and I have raised the matter with the
BIOSCI help desk at Daresbury.
