We are currently seeking two individuals with a solid grounding in the
theory of statistical methods and experience in applying these to problems
in genetics. These individuals will join a team of statisticians working
with our genomics division in St. Louis, Missouri. The work environment is
stimulating, fast-paced and interdisciplinary. 

Responsibilities will include designing and analyzing expression and
metabolic-profiling experiments, association studies, and QTL mapping
experiments, and working on other statistical problems in genomics and plant
breeding. These individuals also will collaborate closely with database and
software application developers building systems for data collection,
storage, analysis, and presentation. 
Required Skills: 

Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics is required; post doctoral experience
is preferred. Experience in the use and programming of software packages
(such as S-Plus and SAS) for data management and statistical analysis is
essential. Experience in applying statistical methods to problems in
genetics and/or transcriptional profiling is preferred. Background in
biology is desirable.
