Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate to work in the lab of Dr Erica Watson. A main focus of the Watson lab is to understand the epigenetic mechanisms behind non-conventional inheritance using an animal model of abnormal folate metabolism (https://www.pdn.cam.ac.uk/directory/watson-erica).

The successful candidate should have completed (or about to complete) their PhD in a relevant field, have a background in epigenetic and molecular techniques (e.g., bisulfite pyrosequencing, RT-qPCR), mouse embryo dissection and phenotyping, sperm collection, and/or standard histology techniques. They will have experience handling large datasets and basic bioinformatic analysis. They must have a competitive history of research achievements. Experience in conducting embryo culture experiments, confocal microscopy, ChIP-seq or RNA-seq (and/or other high-throughput technologies) is desirable. Animal husbandry experience and Home Office Training would be a distinct advantage.

Applications should include a personal statement highlighting suitability to the post, detailed CV and the names and addresses of two academic referees.
