Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Medicine (Ref.: 493857), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Clinical Neuroscience or a relevant discipline, preferably with experience in laboratory experiments relating to stroke and dementia. They should have fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese. A good track record of grant application and publication would be an advantage. The appointee will work on clinical and laboratory-based stroke and dementia research using animal models as well as molecular and bioinformatics techniques. He/She will also manage research projects and mentor postgraduate students.
