Our client is a leading clinical reference lab seeking a Sr Cytogenetic Technologist for its Nashville, TN location. Emphasis will be on cancer specimens including a full range of molecular / cytogenetic / (FISH) testing.
Responsibilities will include:
Processing of specimens for FISH analysis including proper use of SOPs
Performing accurate FISH microscopic analysis & image capture of cells to ensure timely completion of clinical cases
Maintenance of laboratory records including sample analysis documentation.
Participation in QA, QC & QI programs, as well as assisting in training of entry-level technologists
Requirements for this role include Bachelors degree, CG(ASCP)CM certification, & 2+ years related experience performing processing of specimens for FISH analysis in a timely & efficient manner.
