Responsible for conducting research in development and application of nanoparticles and microgels for breast cancer research and photo-thermal cancer therapy for breast cancer. Manage Lab.

Training and Experience:

Master Degree in nanomateral chemistry or cell biology or molecular biology or related discipline is required; Ph.D. is preferred.

Illustrative Examples of Work:

Synthesize new microgels including core, and core/shell microgels and nanoparticles; characterize microgels and nanoparticles and apply as drug delivery systems for breast cancer; Photo-thermal cancer therapy for breast cancer; assist undergraduate students; manage lab including ordering chemicals, supplies and maintain instruments; responsible for the day to day activities of the project. Performs other duties, as assigned.
