ACM-BCB 2015 Industry Track Call for Sponsors, Panels and Special Sessions

The ACM Conference on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, and Health
Informatics (ACM BCB) is the flagship conference of the ACM SIGBio 2015 is
the conference's sixth year, building upon the success of the first five
meetings in Niagara Falls, Chicago, Orlando, Washington DC, and Newport
Beach. Since 2013, we have incorporated the new area of Health Informatics
in BCB and we look forward to its continual growth.

ACM BCB 2015 will be held in Atlanta GA during September 9?2, 2015. The
Industry Track invites submission of proposals of panels and special
sessions and nominations of keynote speakers/presentations, which are
focused on industrial research, application and implementation in the areas
of interests of the conference.


*Sponsorship and Exhibition Opportunities*


There are many opportunities for companies and organizations to participate
as presenters, exhibitors and sponsors, including:

* Conducting one-hour workshops on products and/or research;
* Demonstration of products and research;
* Participating as an exhibitor;
* Recruiting and networking events;
* Hosting a coffee break, lunch or dinner;

Several levels of contributions are available with different participation
activities provided at each level:

Platinum - $10,000:
5 conference/exhibitor registrations
Premium Exhibit booth
Company listed on conference banner
Company listed in conference program
1 page Ad in conference program
Up to two 1-hour tutorial slots
Possible keynote presentation at industry track

Gold - $5,000:

5 conference/exhibitor registrations
Exhibit booth
Company listed in conference program
Half page Ad in conference program
One 1-hour tutorial slot

Silver -$2,500:

2 conference/exhibitor registrations
Exhibit booth
Half page Ad in conference program
Company listed in conference program

The deadlines for commitment and payment for these levels of contributions
are August 1, 2015.


We also invite submissions of proposals for panels and special sessions
which are related to the themes of the conferences and with focus on
applications/implementations and commercialization or prospects of such.
Each panel or special session should cover 60-90 minutes, with at least
20-30 minutes for discussions.

The complete panel proposal should not exceed 6 pages, and should include:

* Panel topic and justification for such panel;
* Complete contact information and affiliations for the panel organizers;
* (Potential) panelists and their expertise;
* A brief biography for each organizer and panelist.

Submissions from both academic and industry are welcome; collaborations
between the two are extremely encouraged.

The complete special session proposal should not exceed 4 pages, and should
include:

* Special session topic and justification for such special session;
* Complete contact information and affiliations for the special session
organizers;
* (Potential) presenters/title of presentations and their affiliations;
* (Optional) abstracts of presentations;

Submissions from both academic and industry are welcome; collaborations
between the two are extremely encouraged. The special session will require
at least 4 presentations, or they will be combined with other special
sessions. No full paper is required for presentations in the special
sessions of industry track. If you plan to submit a full paper, please
follow conference regular paper submission procedures, and let the program
committee know that you prefer to present your paper with industry track.

* Behavioral, Environmental, and Public Health Informatics
* Biological Network Modeling and Analysis
* Biomedical Imaging and Data Visualization
* Clinical and Health Decision Support Systems
* Computational Systems Biology
* Epigenomics, Gene Regulation and Transcription
* Genome and Sequence Analysis
* Healthcare Data Quality Control, Privacy, and Security
* Microbiomics and Metagenomics
* Mobile Health and Sensor Networks
* Population, Evolution, and Comparative Genomics
* Predictive Modeling and Analytics in Healthcare
* Protein and RNA Structure and Function
* Proteomics and Metabolomics
* Text Mining of Biomedical Literature and Clinical Notes
* Translational Bioinformatics

We also solicit nominations of invited speakers/presentations. The
nomination should include speaker抯 name, affiliation, and short bio,
abstract of the presentation, etc. Preference will be given to industrial
leaders, and/or industrial research, applications and implementations.

We also solicit abstract submissions to contributed sessions of industry
tracks. Please submit your abstract to industry track co-chairs at
IT.ACMBCB from gmail.com by June 28th.
