You are invited to attend the ACM Conference on Bioinformatics,
Computational Biology, and Health Informatics (ACM BCB), the flagship
conference of the ACM Special Interest Group on Bioinformatics,
Computational Biology, and Health Informatics (ACM SIGBio). The ACM
BCB-2014 (www.cse.buffalo.edu/ACM-BCB2014) to be held in Newport
Beach, CA September
20-23, 2014, is the 5th annual ACM BCB conference, building upon the
success of previous annual conferences to provide a premier forum for
interdisciplinary research linking computer science, mathematics,
statistics, biology, bioinformatics, and health informatics.
The scientific program is shaping up to be a great conference, with 3
keynote talks, 66 contributed talks, 8 workshops, 5 tutorials, one
industrial session with invited speakers, along with a PhD Forum, and two
panels on "Translational Bioinformatics" and "Women in Bioinformatics"
respectively. Selected papers will be published in special issues of the
IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics (TCBB),
IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics (J-BHI), and the DATABASE
