Well, its more a logic problem. 
a = b is obviously one solution.
As you increase a, you must be able to decrease b by some
amount to keep the volumne constant.
Hence, infinity of solutions.
Not a rigorous proof, I know, but convincing enough without
getting pencil and paper out.....
