re specific chromosonal loss problems

Shane: It is highly uncommon for cells to develop extra chromosomes, but in
the strange event hat they do there is a failsafe in the genome grid for
the information not to be read or the gene to become active, in the event
that they do, the cell is only one of millions that the gene is being read
from, this may result in the formation of a tumour-like organism which in
itself is highloy uncommon.  I would suggest for further information
contact a geneticist(or whatever way it is spelled) for further and more
conclusive information.
