Proceedings of the 6th BTK

I have now placed postscript files of the full proceedings of the
BioThermoKinetics Workshop at Schrocken, Austria, September 1994 on the
anonymous FTP server at bmsdarwin.brookes.ac.uk (or The
files will be found in directory pub/documents/Proc6thBTK. Since the full
document is over 300 pages long, I have divided it into a number of separate
postscript files (extensions .ps) with names that correspond to the parts
into which the book is divided. There are compressed (binary) .zip files
for each part to reduce the sizes of the files that need to be tansferred.
But if you're sure you want the full text, there is a file total.zip that
contains all the separate postscript files.

There are shortcomings of this electronic version compared to the hardcopy
version available from Erich Gnaiger. For example, some of the equations
and all the diagrams are missing. Also, because the postscript was produced
from WordPerfect files, the pagination does not correspond to the hardcopy
version (and the contents and index pages) because the output of this
package is not device-independent.

Please note that although the editors have agreed to the book being made
available in this form, the copyright of the text remains with the authors
and editors. See the file copyright.msg on the server for full details and
the ISBN number etc.

Finally, apologies for the control codes that appeared in the posting of the
contents pages last week. I didn't repost a corrected version of the
message because of its size. The contents pages exist as an ASCII file,
contents.txt, on the server if you want to look at it again to check which
parts of the proceedings you might be interested in.
