To people interested in any aspect of the thermodynamics of biochemical
reactions:
For the past year and a half, I have been the Convener of a Panel on
Biochemical Thermodynamics of the IUBMB-IUPAC Joint Commission on
Biochemical Nomenclature. This Panel has prepared a report
"Recommendations for Nomenclature and Tables in Biochemical
Thermodynamics." which is now in the report review process. We will be
open to suggestions until the end of April, 1994. I will be glad to
mail you a copy of the draft report (34 pages) if you will send me your
postal address. This report is based on recent developments in
biochemical thermodynamics that open up new possibilities and requires
changes in nomenclature. I can send you reprints if you are interested.
