I've started this historical archive from a partial set of GenBank CDs:

Most people don't care about these historical releases, as the data,
possibly updated and corrected, is available in current releases. For
some critical purposes, research using the older data requires these
historical data releases be available for confirmation.
Please contact me if you wish to see these available, if you have CDs
or release copies missing from below list to share, or if you would like to
contribute to the cost of providing public access to these.
BTW, maybe NCBI can provide these. The folks who are interested said
they had already asked at NCBI, but maybe not the right place?
