[Bio-software] Problems with BLAST output..

Hello,

I am facing a problem while blasting a fasta file against itself using
our company's blast server. In the result set, for some of the HSPs, I
am getting a long string of "############" characters in the "hseq"
field of the output. I also do not see a hsp_midline and hsp_identity
in this kind of an erroneous HSP.

I have pasted an example output of one of the erroneous HSP's my blast
returned. Has anyone faced this kind of a problem before?

I will highly appreciate any information you could provide.
