A new distance learning course, Molecular Modelling and Structure-based
Drug Design, has been developed by staff at the University of Leeds, UK.
You will find full details of the course here :
http://www.cs.man.ac.uk/biomed/bs6251.html It can be studied either as
an individual module, or as an element of the full MSc in Bioinformatics
offered jointly by the University of Manchester and the University of
Leeds, UK.

The MSc modules follow two themes, Bioinformatics and Computer Science.
  The Bioinformatics modules are:

Introduction to Molecular Biology for Computer Scientists
Introduction to Bioinformatics
Introduction to Microarray Data Analysis
Theory and Applications in Bioinformatics
The Bioinformatics of Protein Structure
The Science of Proteomics
Molecular Modelling and Structure-based Drug Design

The computing modules are:

Introduction to programming (C or Java)
Intermediate Java
Biocomputing
Object-oriented analysis and design with UML

The module fee for 2004/2005 is £750. You will find further
information, including a link to the online application form, here :
