I am planning to replace the linux machine that runs our BLAST
programmes, and I'm seeking advice on the choice for the processor.
I hesitate between a Pentium 3 biprocessor, a Pentium 4 monoprocessor,
or athlon based machine.
Anyone willing to share her/his experience?
