The program DynaFit, free for academic researchers,
was updated to version 3.25. This version features
an option to output the computed initial reaction
velocities at an arbitrary reaction time.
The program is most useful in the analysis of complex
reaction mechanism, for which traditional (algebraic)
kinetic equations cannot be derived. See bibliography
below for a list of 54 journal articles using DynaFit.
EXAMPLE: "TIGHT BINDING" INHIBITION OF AN ENZYME DIMER

DYNAFIT INPUT
[mechanism]
Monomer + Monomer <==> Dimer : k1 k-1
Dimer + Inhibitor <==> Complex : k2 k-2
Dimer + Substrate <==> Intermediate : k3 k-3
Intermediate <==> Dimer + Product : k4 k-4
