Announcement:
Version 3.0 of the BioStat Fermentor Control program has been released and
is available for download from: www.foxylogic.com. The program is freeware.
Version 3.0 has several new features like fuzzy logic and neural network
controlled substrate addition, and an Internet client program is available.
The program works with BioStat A, B, C, CT, D, MD, Micro-DCU, & DCU.
The BioStat Fermentor Control program collects process data and display them
in a graphical window. All process set points are controlled by graphical
sliders or by keyboard, and numerical displays show the current settings.
Intelligent control to master substrate addition is possible with the fuzzy
logic control module and software substrate concentration prediction is
accomplished using neural networks. Profiles and events can be designed with
the profile editor. Finally, a TCP/IP client makes it possible to control
the unit from any online computer in the world.
