We have been doing some mathematical modeling of changes over time in
1. hepatitis-C virus (HCV) load,
2. HLA-1 beta-2-microglobulin titer, and
3. alanine tranferase activity
upon treatment of HCV-positive individuals with Interferon, with or
without Ribavirin ("combination therapy"). Partial results of these
studies will be presented at the "Digestive Disease Week" annual
conference in San Diego [ http://www.ddw.org ], starting this Monday
(May 25th).
The purpose of this announcement is to draw interested people to
