There is another page where we are starting a more detailed description:
http://www.sanger.ac.uk/Software/EMBOSS/Interfaces/
PISE (see Catherine Letondal's reply) is the first reasonably complete
interface. We aim to support as many interface developers as possible.
In many cases they have not been actively working on including
EMBOSS, but we know that for most of them we can automate the process
of adding each new application.
The interfaces listed so far are:
Web: Pise, W2H, www2gcg, AppLab, SRSWWW, BioNavigator,
GUI: CoLiMate, Staden, DISguiSE, SeqPup,
Other: CINEMA, Acedb, Perl, WinNT
If you know of other interfaces we should include, please let us know.
