Okay, assuming nobody else steps forward, I'll start thinking about
this.
I still think that this is something that needs to be talked about by
the people at the BOSC; I'd really like to see something come from the
BioPerl (and BioPython, etc.) groups -- those are the people I see as
the current 'leaders' of the open source segment of the bioinformatics
software community.
