Psychiatric Genomics, Inc. (PGI) is a new company focused on
discovering novel therapeutic agents to treat mental health disorders
by using an integrated platform of such cutting-edge technologies as
DNA microarrays, high-throughput screening, genomics, and rational drug
design.
We are seeking talented and versatile individuals who could help to
build the Information Technology platform that supports our
effort in bioinformatics and gene/drug discovery. This will be an
exciting and challenging opportunity to build the entire data
management environment that will include several Oracle-based databases
(including data collection in a LIMS), data mining tools, and an
integrated knowledge management package.
We have a number of immediate openings at various levels ranging from
desktop support to system administration/programming to database
administration. The ideal candidates will have a B.S./M.S. degree,
multidisciplinary skills and ability to multitask in areas such as
Unix/NT and network administration, client/server applications, and
databases, preferrably in the context of bioinformatics.
