Our client is a global leader in imedical mage processing and analysis systems. We are looking for a hands-on technical leader to guide PC-Based low-level programing efforts. Team size will be 6-8 and experience levels of the team members range from intern through 10+years. 20-30% of your time will be spent as project owner which involves interdepartmental coordination, planning, scheduling, status reporting and the coaching/mentoring of your team members. This position also requires a strong hands-on technical orientation (not adverse to rolling up the shirt sleeves and getting right in there with the troops to help them code).
We could also use a less senior member for this team with 2-5 yrs experience with a salary of $58-70K.
Must have the following technical expertise:
-Low level PC-based device drivers for either Windows 2000, NT, 95 or 98.
-Formal OO skills, i.e.. Rational, UML, Schlaer Mueller, Booch, Rambaugh
Experience with the following technical areas desired:
-Development of Standard Interfaces Across Platforms
-PCI based Devices
-Model Compilers (client uses Bridgeport)
-Windows power up, down and hibernate modes
